Treasure Islands is a temporary event what is launched on occasion by the Administrators (generally in summer).

During the event, the Administrators can activate different kinds of events from year to year.

Purpose of the Game

Explore the treasure islands, find the 4 keys () to open the damn chest and... dig it up !

• the damn Elise Eskilsdotter's chest (2020)
• the chest and jewels of the great goldsmith Benvenuto Cellini what are buried by the terrible pirate Baldassarre Cossa. (2021)
• the buried Caliph's chest and thousand and one surprises on these mysterious islands (2022)
  
  

Get Exploration points

To obtain exploration points () you :

• buy them directly for gems () in Premium access - Misc
• receive 1 exploration point for every 100 gems () bought (*)
• receive 1 exploration point by letting your character eat a cassava root
• receive 3 exploration points by exploring the plots and discovering a camp

(*) Example:

• If you buy 150 gems you get a free exploration point + 50 gems are kept in memory. If you buy another 150 gems you will get 2 free exploration points. (150 + 50 from memory = 200 gems = 2 free points)

How to play ?

To play the Treasure Islands you simply click on the event image on the bottom right corner of the main view of the game.

Choose the tab Treasure Islands and click on a box adjacent to the starting box or of another box already explored.

Islands squares

Each island is divided into plots, ranging from 25 to 49 to 81 plots. To explore a plot costs 1 exploration point, and it is only possible to explore adjacent plots to an already discovered one.

Every time you explore a plot there is a possiblity to find a hidden treasure that will make your eyes shine bright.

Note:

• Details and numbers of plots for each island are given in the rules.
  
  

Squares	Effects
	The compass gives an indication of the main treasure's location to the player from the center of the island.
	The camp grants the player 3 exploration points.
	The pounds square grants the character 300 pounds.
	The doubloons square grants the character 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 50 doubloons.
	The gems square grants the character 300, 3000 gems.
	The cassava root square grants the character one cassava root.
	The item square grants the character one item, according to the island: a ball of wool a barrel of beer a bushel of salt a bushels of wood a common shrub a fruit a half-cwt of goat an interesting stone an ounce of iron ore a ton of stone
	The rescue kit allowing to save a player fallen in a hole square.
	The main treasure gives the character, according to the island: an Oriental Explorer turban an Oriental Explorer shirt and Oriental Explorer boots an Oriental Explorer jambiya an Oriental Explorer scarf an Oriental Explorer background and boots a small Roc or 300 pounds or a chalice
	The additional treasure gives the character, according to the island (from 2 to 5): a small Roc 300 pounds 2000 gems a chalice
	The hole blocks the player until another player saves him or buys a rope at the antiquary.

Islands

The first 5 islands are called:

• Hope Island, Bird Island, Skull Island, Pig Island, Princess Island (2020)
•  ?
• Whale Island, ...

On each island is a main treasure buried. An additional treasure is hidden at the second island and the following ones. Once the main treasure is discovered, you can:

• continue to explore the current island and move on to the next one whenever you are ready or
• proceed to the next island right away.

When you have explored the five islands and discovered the last main treasure you can continue to explore the other islands of the archipelago that no cartographer has been able to count, the eternal islands.

Note:

• Changing island means leaving behind the unexplored parts of the current island. You will then not be able to go back in your footsteps to look for other treasures.

Where to read the rules

In the fourth tab named "Rules" you will be able to consult all the rules of the game and know in which islands the treasures are hidden.

Bunkers and buggers, Explorers and explorers, all that's left is to wish you a successful hunt and good luck.
