The Quest for the Flame is a temporary available event launched by the administrators at the beginning of the Autumn (2022) or Summer (2024, 2025) Tournament event.

Contents
Goal of the game
Bring the torch of the village home, come on! Well, actually to the capital of the county / duchy. Now hurry, before the time's up!
How to play?
To bring the torch of your village to the capital of your county click on the bottom right corner of the village screen.
Participate in the quest.
You have to contact the mayor of your village directly:
Mayor
The mayors of all villages in the Renaissance Kingdoms receive a torch of Village in their town hall inventory.
From their office they may designate a character from their village as the torch bearer they entrust with the delivery to the capital of the county.
Note:
- The mayor may designate himself as the torch bearer. But be careful to not leave the village unattended for too long...
- Every active character inside the village can be designated as the torch bearer from the mayor, as long as he is a resident at the beginning of the event.
- The torch can be passed to another character by using it in the inventory.
- The torch can be robbed while travelling to the capital. It's best to not go alone.
Residents
To carry the torch of the village you have to:
- receive it from the mayor OR
- receive it from the previous torch bearer.
- To be a designated torch bearer by the mayor the character has to be in the village to receive the torch.
- To pass the torch to another resident the torch bearer has to use the torch of Village from his inventory. Both characters have to be in the same village / on the same node.
The torch bearer, alone or accompanied by a group, has to take the torch to the capital of the county/duchy before the timer is up and the next part of the event, the jousts beginn.
To deposit the torch once the torch bearer reaches the capital he needs to go to the event home page and select the button to deliver the torch: 
Note:
- Only inhabitants of the village can be designated to carry the torch of their village.
- They have to be inhabitants already at the beginning of the event. Once the event starts the character cannot change the county he/she is participating for by moving to another village.
Rules
In the 4th tab named "Rules" all information about the event, including it's rules and event objects, new items ... can be found.
