Every owner of a [[tavern]], [[campfire]] or ship's [[mess]] and every mayor (as the one responsible to manage the municipal [[tavern]] of the [[town hall]]) has the possibility to manage the [[tavern]] and/or change its settings.

*To manage a [[private tavern]], [[campfire]] or [[mess]]:
** go to [[My house]] > [[My properties]] > Tavern / campfire / Mess
*To manage the [[municipal tavern]] as the mayor:
** go to [[Town]] > [[Tavern]]

The owner of a [[tavern]] can :
* change the name of the [[tavern]]
* change the message displayed in the [[tavern]]s description
* appoint a [[bartender]], who can manage the guests in the [[tavern]] in absence of the [[owner]] (can be changed anytime again)
* create up to 2 [[menu]]s, which [[tavern]] guests can eat to sate their [[hunger]]
* provide [[beer]] for thirsty guests (by using [[barrel of beer|barrels of beer]] produced in [[monastery|monasteries]] or by buying [[pint of beer|mugs of beer]] via the buying option in the settings)
* transfer [[food]] to the [[tavern]]s inventory or to remove them (not possible in [[campfire]]s)
* set prices for [[beer]] and the [[menu]]
* change the [[tavern's background]] (requires to add a [[tavern's background]] to the [[tavern]]'s [[inventory]])
* purchase additional seats (requires the possession of a [[Deck of cards]])
* open a [[Poker]] table and change its settings (requires the possession of a [[Deck of cards]] to open, Poker feature is currently deactivated)
* destroy the [[tavern]] (Warning: this action is irreversible! Everything in the [[tavern]]'s [[inventory]] is lost!!!)
* view the earnings of the day of the [[tavern]] (earnings will be automatically transferred to the owner's [[inventory]] each day at [[reset]]).
* manage guests by using different commands when being inside the [[tavern]]
* place the [[tavern]] in the 3D view of the [[town]]
